sorry it's late
would have finished this a few days ago if I wasn't trying to finish a painting for school. but anyways here tis, better late than never eh 
self crit time! WHOOP
I think the anatomy is a little off in this, the feet are a tad to big though I'm not saying I don't like it (: quite stylish I reckon. also I thing the head is a bit stretched.
the background is a bit icky and the light and shadows don't make sense <___<; and for some reason I have a nagging feeling that I've forgotten something in this picture but I'm too tired to think of it now.
feel free to point out anything else you don't think is quite right
otherwise... I think this is my best picture yet (:

it's how I like to do my art.. which is why I always take so long to submit stuff other than my pencil sketches >.>;

how long does that take you? I tried to do that on my trade with you but it tured out rather icky and non-realistic looking so i quit with that

I'm not sure how long it took me to make but I'll guess around 6-12 hrs, give or take, and I spread it out over several days.
fur can be difficult to make look right,
I keep changing what I do in each of my pics but with this particular one-
I used custom made fur brushes using this tutorial [link] to do the base coat and to do basic shadows and light (don't use too strong highlights or shading for this, just keep it rather plain) and also to show fur direction.
then go over it with a 2-5 pixel brush and define the single hairs more, add more detailed shadows and light this way, keep in mind where your light source is and how it would fall onto the shape, I add the extreme highlights (like white or depending on what colour the light source is) last.
er I'm not to good at explaining things but yer.. that's how I did the fur on this pic

I find that tutorial useful for making any brush, I never knew there was a way to make brushes until I come across that.
