I wonder if everyone can see all the little inside jokes in this.As much as a lot of people thinks Sans is good friends with Frisk I never got that impression on the Pacifist route. I always thought he was friends with you for Papyrus' and Toriel's sake, so I figured in this timeline that strain would be emphasized.
Maybe if I reach $20 on my Patreon (www.patreon.com/DarkMerchant ) I'll make a third part in which Genocide!Frisk and Asgore meet.

And yeah, I agree with Sans not really being.. friends, per se. He views them as a threat, that's what I got from the game.

Sans had admitted when you fight him at the end of the Genocide Run that before all this happened, he was secretly hoping they would be friends, like he had some sliver of hope that they'd turn out alright after all, and of course, the player could easily shoot that thought to Hell, depending on their actions.

I kinda feel like sans is your friend "only" when he's sure he can trust you. That mean, in the pacifist route, once you meet him in the judgement hall. He saw you had power, and yet, didn't hurt anyone. And that way, he can also trust you a little to not reset once you've made the right choice. ( Even thought he would never have expected you to free everyone )
