Final Fantasy VI's Cyan Garamonde.
Cause he needs the love.
Tried a different approach to coloring this time, after staring at all those Amano referenences for days now :3
I wouldn't want to spoil the scene for those who haven't played the game yet (shame on you~), but those who did probably know what the pic is all about.

Superb work ---kudos to you for emulating Amano 's style, so intricate and complex. I especially love how you did his chestplate --so many colors and so well -mixed. His expression reads grief but restraint which gives him dignity. And on the other hand, it's sad that he can't shed tears --it's like the river must cry in his place. Beautiful work. ^^

Cyan's got it rough, more so than any other character in FFVI. I think it's why he's such a memorable character IMO.

Cyan was my favorit mostly due to the fact he's the only Good guy that has a Bad ass 'stache... or ANY facial hair for that matter. grandpa's don't count xD

omigsosh.... one of the saddest parts of the game... I remeber that I almost cried the very first time I say him pull the covers back on his little son... and.... -sobs- ..... Ahem... This is wonderfully done, nice balance of negative and positive space, it dosen't feel too heavy towards the bottom and the color scheme is great. I love the water in his hand and the way it falls. Great job!

I think that scene defines Cyan the most, followed by the awesome ghost train part. He's such a tragic character, and that's what makes him strong and memorable for me as a player.

Aaaaa, that's awesome! I haven't seen many art pieces of Cyan, but this is absolutely the coolest one I've found. I love the way you did draw his, err, can you call those as armor? O.o Well, anyway, you did it very well ^^ The coloration looks great, too, and Cyan's expression fits the scene. Poor guy D:

I based most of his armor on Yoshitaka Amano's illustrations, and chose to emulate his colors cause I stared at 'em for too long. However for some parts, I just improvised. XD
