Hello from ProjectComment
As has already been said by previous commenters, it is great feat to paint such a picture just with a mouse. Though I have very little experience with digital art, I came to know that drawing anything with tablet is much easier than with mouse (but still I prefer doing it traditionally).
Now to the picture itself. It has a beautiful and eerie atmosphere. The very simple colour scheme works well, with the nightly cold grey to dark blue colours of the pavement and sky complemented by the red and pink. Still it retains overall cold feeling, which is appropriate for a night scene. Also I like the way the hard, sharp lines of the railing contrast with the soft shapes of the sakura trees in the background. And the white glow helps to make the picture feel eerie or otherworldly.
The composition seems to be a bit asymmetric, with the left side quite empty, but this is not necessary a bad thing, and it enhances the eerie atmosphere. What I would suggest is perhaps to add more space to the top of the picture, so the character is more in the focus, now his head is too close to the upper edge.
What seems to me slightly odd about it from the first sight is the perspective. The bridge itself is all right, but I thing the railing to the left doesn't fit very well to it. I can imagine it can possibly look this way if it stands in a certain angle and is seen from a certain angle, but in my opinion the perspective could look better (it is difficult to explain, just let's say if the upper beam was a bit more towards horizontal).
Otherwise it is a nice picture; you really succeeded in making it feel otherworldly and yet beautiful.

thank you for your valuable input. I'm glad that it created a ghostly atmosphere and I wanted to have a sense of loneliness (which is why I intended to leave a blank empty sky)... to be honest most of hours drawing this was spent on the bridge hahah took so many layers of shading to the point I just convinced myself it looked alright and moved on I will take the perspective and space into consideration for the next piece!! thanks again.

Hello there, I'm from ProjectComment and I'm here to talk about this lovely scenery!
First: congratulations on drawing this with a mouse. I sometimes uses a mouse instead of tablet and it is always so slow and frustrating!
I like the colors and they blend well together. I'm not sure I understand were the light comes from, since it is night, and moonlight would not be that harsh. Often, by moonlight, things tend to loose a bit of their colors. Here, the red is still vivid and same for the pink blossom. That being said, I like how the character is glowing and this contrast helps see his figure.
However, there is something odd with the composition of the art. As the foreground is so vivid, despite nothing happening there, and because the character is perched on the barrier, and the glow does not go up to his head... My eye focused at first on his foot.
I think (but it is only me) that you could crop the bottom of the foregroung (though you successfully painted there pavment stones) and add the same heidth on top (to keep the image square) and extend with plain sky. That would put the head on a natural focus point (according to the 'rule of thirds') and helps the general impression. More sky would also increase the ethereal feel of the painting, I think.
Anyway, those are quibbles: this drawing is great and congratulations again on the mouse work!

Hey there thank you for taking your time commenting. I really enjoyed reading your opinion and I really had thought of cutting off the bottom footpath before but I decided to keep it anyway haha I was more invested into the scenery this time rather than the character itself and you was right, if look really closely, he's a bit out of focus (normally the character is the centre of the piece for me)... I wanted to have the glow a bit more focus around his feet like, stuff glows where he steps kinda thing haha. I probably should have a better frame set up ~

You drew this with a mouse? w o w
Well to start, this is absolutely stunning. The whole composition of the piece is an interesting mix of beautiful and eerie. The monochrome pavement and sky allows the piece to feel dark in theme, but is contrasted with the pink of the Sakura trees and the bright red bridge rail. I can see you've put a lot of work into this and it's really paid off. The floating highlights really helps to give the piece depth and a ghostly feel to the character. The character is positioned off to the side with a dark choice in clothing, allowing it to remain the main feature of the piece yet still blend into the background. The decision to do this as well as to colour the character's hair white, further assists this otherworldly feel to it.
In terms of improvement, the treeline rises with the edge of the bridge, this may be intentional to show a walkway down the other side of the bridge, but also makes the piece look a little lopsided with the left side being left a little empty. The light sources are also a little confusing, appearing to reflect off the bridge- to reduce this you may want to blur them a little less next time.
Overall, a very effective and easy on the eyes piece! Well done, you should be really proud of yourself!

thank you for commenting, I'm very interested in the improvement points you have stated, I tended to not abusing the blur tool too much and I might need to practise later on, the reference being a photo I took during daytime so I had a bit of hard time with the night shadows and I was afraid that I would make the piece too dark, also I know it looks weird but I stayed closed to the real scene so there was supposedly a deep trench below the bridge but I guess I will try to fill up more, really appreciate your thought
