Once again, thank you all for the faves and comments! I'm unfortunately going to have to disable further comments because I've heard "omg she's supposed 2 b black u got it wrong!1!" one too many times and I'm sick of it, but for those of you who actually read and respected my comments, thank you

But please refrain from commenting about any "inaccuracies"-- this is the way I pictured the scene and Rue; I wasn't necessarily trying to be absolutely 100% book-accurate!Oh man, this picture may hold the record for longest time passed between start and finish. I sketched this and started inking it about this time last year while studying abroad in Japan. Just got around to finishing it today.
Rueeee! You can't tell me you didn't cry when she died! Her hair took me foreverrrr.
I hope my picture does her character justice ;A;

I cries in the book, then I cried at the movie, and then I went to see a play of the hunger games and guess what I did! This deserves a favorite.

Very beautiful pic! Ahh.. yes It was most definateley one of the saddest moments in the book. I cried for like 5 min when she died, both well reading it, and watching it. Did anybody else go see the movie like 7 times??? lol. I did. And each time I went, I cried at that exact part.
