Thanks! Nope, didn't hand dye the fabric on this one. What I used was gradated fabric and just used the placement of the squares to get the fade to work.

I love how this piece isn't quite the traditional take on wisteria Kanzashi. It's very beautiful. You're ever so talented, and I love how nice you set up your work with the katsura propped onto a nice scarf ( like those miniture wigs you see now and again on ebay).

Thank you! Yeah, I was trying to come up with a way to make wysteria from the fabric I had at home and this was the method I was able to come up with. I basically had some fabric that faded from purple to pink so I just had to position the squares to get the gradation effect.
