It's my favorite and I liked the fandom when I was in it and it was alive, because it was alive. But now it really isn't, yet I still feel like it should at times and forget that it's for the most part- well- dead.

I think it's because Soul Eater Not kinda changed the genre, plus like all good things, they must come to an end. Even Fullmetal Alchemist is falling into entropy.

I guess that's true, but I mean, entropy is bound to happen with older anime. We keep getting newer and more creative stuff. The fandom wheel is always turning. Blue Exorcist is a good jump from Soul Eater.

Yeah, and the fandom is quite dead too. I watched this anime at least 10(?) times, I really liked it. It'd be good if they'd make a version that follows the manga 'til the end.

Now that I'm rewatching it, the animation is not as good as I thought it was, it even looks a bit lazy.
But I do hope they reboot it following the manga. One can only dream
