Description
Three friends have a relaxing day playing in the autumn colours as the sun sets.An experiment in using Painter to blend. I haven't used the programme since 2004! I really need more practice ^^'

Yes, I did enter this to the Letraset Manga Hoshi contest, I'm happy this picture won me that month because I spent quite a bit of time and effort on it ^^ I've been drawing for 5 years now, it's all down to practice :3 Thank you for your comment~

I also really like the expressions on the girls.
The blue one is my favorite I think...I do want to hug all three of them though.
One question though...Why is the red one sitting away from the other two? Is it jest because she fit best there or is there a reason?

Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoy this piece, I was worried that the colours weren't very effective but I guess it worked since other people have said it gives them a feeling of warmth XD
The red girl is sitting by herself because she's been shunned for not being cool enough...LOL, just kidding XD Actually, I just thought it would be appropriate for her to be the focal character since her red colour scheme matches with the reddish hues of Autumn, so I wanted to show that connection.

The edge of the tree in the corner looks a little bare, but otherwise this is awesome considering you havent used it since 04. Love the colours

Ah, I saw this on your site the other day. At first, I thought the girl in the thumbnail on your site was Lilith dressed differently, though. XD; But anyway, nice job on this. ^^ I like the colors you chose for this picture~ It's also cool that if you say "RGB," it actually matches the order the characters are in from left to right... if that makes any sense.
