Happy Birthday Windridres !Β Just thought I'd make a little something that's inspirational/motivating for you, hope you like it ;u;
Bust/half-body shot of her Istarian Dragon, Windridres, ascending into the skies.
Wind is described to have "scales that gives you the impression as if she is moving with a soft breeze; as if she is made from a part of the sky". I had hoped to capture that effect^^"
Windridres belongs to Windridres . Only she is allowed to use it.

Yes, when I was both planning the picture and drawing it, I had it clearly in my mind that I want the picture to convey a powerful feeling of flightΒ and upwards.Β
And thank youuuu so much ;u; those words really make my day! It makes me so happy to know that my pictures can 'speak' in the way I want the viewer to 'feel' when they look upon it. That's really what I want to achieve ;u;

And know that even if you do drop, just flap a bit and you'll be airborne in no time >:3
The trick is not to 'never fall', but 'to fly back up again' when you do.

;U; d'awwwwww thankssssssssssssssss I guess I kinda just 'wing' it when it comes to dragons since there's no real and proper 'dragon anatomy' to look at x'D though my main source of reptilian anatomy inspiration is mostly gators and raptors/dinos (LOL) and then there are bats to look at for wings but I donno asldkfmlmskdf thank youuuu ;u; maybe next time we can like do a double-join.me and try to sort of learn dragon anatomy together?
And yessss I planned for Wind and the sky behind to be a contrast in colour x'D Sort of a 'cool' colour and a 'warm' colour to go together so she doesn't 'blend in'. Skies are funnnn- both the ones on her body and wings as well as the actual one in the background x3
