It does have a standby function if there are batteries inside and is on where it will move and say "Pikachuuu" but usually sad to remind you that it's online. Idk if that's what it is or not, but I haven't had batteries in mine since like I was 12 or so back in 2001 hahaha

I have a Pikachu toy. If you place it on your palm, then pull it backwards and push it back down on your palm, it goes "PIKACHU!!" It's like heat sensitive or something. xD

Omg, Electronic Pikachu Plushies are the bomb! I still have mine (though he barely functions now 
And yeah, Cyndaquil was the bomb! Whenever I used to play Gold, Silver and Crystal, it was either him or Chikorita because I was in it for the Typhlosion and Meganium. I hated Totodile and Feraligatr :/

I admire those of you who put so much time into your answer drawings. On a meme like this it's surprising how long it takes to even just draw with line art!
I think normal types are cool too because they're very diverse, they don't seem to get "type cast" if you'll pardon the pun..
