My goal is to elicit a strong emotional response when someone looks at my photos, I don't consider that gay and I don't think anyone should.

The b&w contrast is really intense and I like the reflections, but I would have straightened a little bit this shot

This picture makes me feel horrible... like the interior landscape of a person when they are traumatized. It's not completely gone, but cut off and damaged...

Well....at least the photo made you feel something, even if it wasn't a good feeling. Thats always a step toward the right direction with photography, getting people to feel emotions when they see your photos.

Very unique capture. You did a great job.
The only thing i see that may be amiss, is the bit of sky you can see in the upper right hand corner.
You may or may not have tried it, but i feel as though i'm falling when i look at the picture.

This reminds me of a cabin my grandfather once owned that was on the edge of a lake.
Great song too. The way I see it, the photograph is of a place where people can escape from the "mad world" that we live in, but I'm not sure if that's how you meant it.

I love your interpretation of the photo.
I like to think of it as a place of peace in your mind that you can always use to get away from everything else, where time stand still and only your thoughts matter.
I only heard the song later on TV when I saw the Gears of War trailer. I thought it went perfect with the photo but I didn't really know why.

Haha, yeah I saw the song in that trailer also. I didn't think it really fit in there very well, but at the same time it made sense. The first time I heard it was in Donnie Darko, and then in an episode of CSI.
