My entry for the ANIMA: Gate of Memories tarot.

I may say that I had great fun drawing again with my tablet, since here in China I can only use my old one and it´s quite difficult to use with my laptop, but it was really, really fun draw again with digital software.

In first place I wanted draw The Empress card, but the sketch turnt to something like a warrior lady, so I decided to draw Justice instead.

My idea of Justice is that, even if its blind, its not mute or deaf, and will find out who is innocent and who is guilty, no matter how long it takes or how difficult it may be; the Judgement will come at the end.

I wanted to show a Justice not as a someone who helps the innocent, but hunts the guilty ones; also, this Justice will find how dark is the human´heart, since it can find the worst of us, so in the end, no one may be really innocent.

That´s why she wears a war helmet, as well uses a black sword, which also is the balance. Wanted to give a more agressive look to this card, since every card has two meaning; the straigh one and the inverse one, which may lead to another meaning while using the tarot. You may be found guilty or may be found innocent; will this card tell us?
