Kaneda has no powers, no super brain, no mechanical gadgets
He has got just a cool moto, some times a laser gun, and his cunning, yet he can stand up against Tetsuo better than an entire army (and in the manga, the US military too xD) with just his common sense and a almost animal-like skill for escaping dangers, avoiding falling stuffs, and hitting the ground with every part of his body without breaking like a normal person
