This is... well I think I'm just mistaken, but this seems to be that scene in the first TVA series where the Major tells Batou about the Tachikoma becoming more 'unreliable' as weapons, and reveals her decision to have them all decommissioned.

The scene is from the original GitS movie. I didn't realise it myself until rewatching it after seeing this pic. It's right after the Major finally meets the Puppetmaster face to face the first time. But I do know which scene you're talking about and I can see the similarities for sure.

This is.. one of the best and beautiful things i've ever seen.. i just fell in love with this picture.. so nice executed, so perfect... i love Ghost in the Shell, but only the first movie.. love the style and everything. i m a huge cyberpunk fan generally.
