Beautiful work I love your painting style it's both painterly and looks filmed at the same time, great stuff. His expression is amazingly well done. You can just feel how wieghted down he is poor Joel!

Is this fringe-effect a way to enhance a painting? Or is it just appearing because of some editing? I am just curious because I've seen this a lot of times now and I don't understand why people add that to their pictures - in photographies you are obliged to prevent these effect. ^^
