Description Well I happened onto this picture [link] here on DA and ask permission to draw it and viola! This is that result This piece is actually done on watercolor paper cold press 400 series made by Strathmore. This piece is also a bit smaller than I normally do things 5.5" x 8.5" I was surprised to find a pad of paper this size but I guess colored pencil artists are growing more abundant around here.... or watercolor.... Whatever I was glad to find it This piece is for sale and offered at 30$ unframed Thanks for looking

I had to feature this lovely Macaw [link] I am a a bird person having 6 of them living with me at this time. I am impressed with the details. My husband looked over and thought it was a picture you had put a filter on. I said nope he is just that good

Ah right Well, a deviation needs 50+ faves to be in featured, but as your the folder manager, you can move it once it hits that (which it's bound to for sure)

Its a pretty bird! lol. Great Job on it Dad It looks just like the picture, well a teeny bit less shiny, but the rusty background adds a certain piratey-ness to it. I love it!

Yup, just start a thread on the colored pencil channel and upload your pic there. It's a forum type so there are no galleries or personal page like here in DA.

Reminder: Preview your thread before submitting, once submitted, you have only an hour to edit it if you have any modifications, otherwise it will be permanent and you cannot delete it or make any more changes.

Well I followed your lead and drew a parrot on watercolor paper Yeah I like how the background turned out too I really worked it with the colorless blender.
