Description
well this one has been an interesting ride, i started it off as a sketch on my lunchbreaks at work, then finished the line art at home. then i decided to add some color to it but i wanted to try something different. so i colored it in prisma color markers and in color pencils. used primary,secondary,and grey scale markers. i also did a few mild touch ups in corel painter. i think the end result turned out rather nicely.
oh now as to what these are these are my original designs for new costumes for jean grey "phoenix" and scott summers "cyclops.
cyclops is wearing an outffit that is a kind of hybrid of his original x-factor costume and his 1990's jim lee x-men uniform. in my design beast will redesign his suit to have metal gauntlets and boots that channel is optic blast energy so he can fly and shoot energy blasts, giving him a much needed upgrade.
jean is wearing a redesign on he phoenix uniform , in my story,she has now bonded with a piece of the phoenix force much like rachel grey has done, i kind of gave her a similar facial energy signature to the original phoenix designs done by john romita jr. when he first designed rachel phoenix.
hope you like my new twists on this classic couple which i think shoud make a return to the x team, they were the core of the group and i think they need to be reunited.
until it's revealed that white queen has been psycically manipulating scott to love he all this time, make mine cyclops and phoenix forever.
