here's some more copic marker grey scale goodness. i have been very inspired by the new/old look of aquaman in the new "brightest day" comic that comes after blackest night. i decided to draw his current look and also draw his previous incarnation with his beard and hook. i had alot of fun drawing the scales on aquamans chest and arms.the bubbles in the back ground came out well i think and were a total accident, i had smeared some mustard on the corner of the page when i was coloring this at lunch and needed a way to cover that up hence the bubbles.
i think my style has really evolved latly i used to have the look of jim lee and aurther adams in my work, now i think my stuff has more of a feeling of j scott campbell and steven sanchez. i think i have sucessfully fused these styles into one of my own. hope u like this new work.

At first glance the back-standing character looks sharper since clearer outlined in comparison to the one standing in the front what doesn't add up. I like the expressions ou came up here, and good work on the poses. The material of the spear came out pretty well, thought the armor/suit according to texturing may still be improved. The grey was used pretty fine throughout. Again, I would only suggest to seperae characters a bit more by maybe having more thicker lines of the guy in the front or a white outline.

The details are awesome! Hair on arms are rarely even drawn, and you did it sooo good! And the shading... really, really nice! Bubbles in the background are what makes this picture a little less aggressive, as it would be with two mad smiling guys xD Well placed them, indeed.

I like the different textures and the shading. Your style is unique and interesting.
There expressions are funny, but still intense and full of emotion. It looks like they could either be pulling a prank or going to war.
