________
★ Name: Fay Brandt
★ Nickname/Alias: NA
★ Dreamer Type: Deceased Dreamer
★ Gender: Female is what she identifies as for most of the time. Though she sometimes feels more like a boy but hasn’t really figured it all out for herself yet.
★ Age: 21
★ Birthday: February 27th
★ Personality: Kind and quirky and usually polite. She will always blurt out what she really thinks and usually will apologize afterwards. She hates to feel like she is imposing on others. She is a little paranoid and can sometimes jump to conclusions. For example, she might get nervous around others and automatically think they dislike her. She is definitely the type to bottle up all her feelings until she explodes.
★ History: (OOH, this is going to be a doozy!)
Fay Brandt was raised alongside her older brother, Hayden, under the guidance of their single mother. Her father walked out before she was born, so she feels nothing about it. She and her brother were raised like ordinary kids and were very close. They were each other’s best friends.
Their mother had homeschooled her two children, so it was natural that the two would become accustomed to each other’s company. Hayden was three years older than Fay, and moved out at the age of 18, leaving Fay behind. When Fay was 16 however, her mother contracted an unknown disease, falling incredibly ill at a rapid rate. It all happened way too fast, and before she could even comprehend what was happening, it was too late. Their mother passed, and Fay went to live with her brother.
She finished her schooling up online, where she spent most of her time. She became acutely aware of the world around her, through the use of her computer. She became wrapped up in politics and social justice and eventually dragged her brother in as well. Fay began to run a social justice blog that became very popular practically overnight. This was because she became a very underground photographer and her brother helped her out with her shenanigans. He picked out the important cases, and Fay went out to capture it all on camera.
Fay felt powerful, important, but all too wrapped up in these big things and often neglected to take care of herself. For one thing, she’s very fragile and not confrontational in real life. However, she felt safe and capable behind the computer screen. She really thought she was making a difference, especially when her brother was by her side and rooting for her. It didn’t even occur to her that she really didn’t have any other friends!
That is…until her brother disappeared. It was so odd. When Fay was 19, her brother just didn’t return home one night. He was supposed to be helping her with college essays and other applications, like he said he would…but he just wasn’t there. He didn’t answer his phone or return her messages…so she tracked the location of his phone. She followed it and found his phone on a park bench. A heavy feeling began to set within her as she searched the area, only coming across his green beanie.
It’s clear to say that he never returned, and Fay had to go back to their shabby apartment to file a missing person’s report. There was a lot of time spent in the search for Hayden, only to leave her empty.
She stopped with her silly blog and shut herself off from the world. She would only go out for photographer jobs and to barely pay rent. It was hard when she was paying rent for two people…and every day she had to walk past his empty room.
This went on and eventually she became painfully aware…that she was alone. She had no one and was always so dependent. For so long, she ignored these thoughts and failed to deal with her emotions. She mourned the loss of her brother, but couldn’t seem to go further than that. There was so much to her that she needed to work on! But, how was she supposed to go about that?
One day, she stood over a tall mountainous ledge that rose over the crashing waves of the ocean. She was taking pictures of the horizon! When her job was done, she stood dreadfully close and peered over. “I could really just get this over with now. Right here.” Wispy hair fluttered in the wind as her thoughts pulled her down. For a very long time, she just stood there as the sky darkened.
She was so lonely. She didn’t want to accept that bad things happen in the world, and often times without reason. There was no one to help her through it all, like she did before. So why not just jump off, huh? The thought was so strange, and she softly laughed.
“I’m being dramatic. This is ridiculous! I don’t want to kill myself!” Though, with that last split second of a changed thought, the edge gave way and Fay went down with it.

★ RP Sample: (Pulled from an RP, these are usally about 3 paragraphs.) Amber eyes blinked at the man before her, then a soft giggle escaped her lips. "Don't say that, people can think whatever they want of me, right?" Although his statement gave her a little rise, she appreciated the thought. The pleasant sounds had stopped and it seemed like he was being serious now, so she took a moment to sit down.
