I designed and created this and another costume for a professional photoshoot May 2010. The photographer was aiming for a post apocalyptic look.
Pictures were taken in a riverbed and we used reflectors and natural sunlight for the awesome outdoor look.

This is just so beauitul. It inspires me to make something like this for myself. I love what you did for the skirt. Its bold and sexy and doesn't stray from the idea that its suppose to be Post Apocalyptic. The top to me leaves something to be desired though, I love the idea of a bra top though. Anyways, beautiful piece and beautiful photos. You look very stunning.
Sorry, I go to conventions and such and I started recently making my own costumes with my mother. Our whole family sews and I have a passion for cosplaying and such. But I am wanting to do something Steam punk and post Apocalyptic mixed for one of my characters. But I would love to use the idea you had for your skirt, I would want to use a different material and color though. Cause my character is suppose to be a sexy angel. But I want do something like this because I have a steam punk con in Apiril that I have to go to.
Anyways, beautiful design. I do love it. You have a real eye and talent for design.
