Yep - last one for this month (phew)Had quite a struggly with this - mainly because all three characters are main characters and therefor of course had to be recognizable as themselves.
I don't know if they are offical short story characters or for the CCG only.
Photoshop 7 from sketch to color (posting those under drawings - because you can actually still see some linework here and there..)

Well now, this is sure a departure from your usual work -- I like the selection of characters (the fella on the top right reminds me of John Constantine for some reason, must be the trenchcoat and Sting-like hair

Oh yep - a lot of fun but a bit scary
The characters were given and the one you mentioned has been amazingly cool illustrated by Kormack earlier (now isn't that scary). So I went from there. If you are interested I can dig up the reference I used for him (the card art from Kormack I mean).

well seeing it was komack who made one of them and a totally kickass illu too..it was not really weird just scary and a bit of pressure..

well I call this style rough realism or something..dunno. It fits the overall feeling of the other cards from the game (at least I think so) and besides I can work pretty fast that way).

Ah, but a rough drawing can still convey many things, such as expression.
Gesture drawings are just a few scribbles, and yet you can see people, sometimes in fantastic poses, in them.
