I am a huge Grievous fan and I love this pic. ^^ Really good job!
And the new series on Cartoon Network cannot compare to the original Star Wars Clone Wars Mini-series that aired like five or six years ago. That was when General Grievous REALLY kicked ass. He went downhill after his lungs were crushed by Mace Windu, though. If that wouldn't have happened, he would have killed Obi-Wan for sure.

Well, they used his body to create another droid by the name of N-K Necrosis, whom considered himself to be Grievous; reincarnation, but that was short-lived and he was killed by spacers.

I disagree about the disappointment thing, grievous was leading his people, basically against the republic before his change.
But thats just what I think, nice piece.

I think you're right. He exemplified their values of warfare and struggle to protect his people. And the Kaleesh supposedly added him to their pantheon. I was supposing that his total transformation, giving up on his own flesh completely to take on a form of machine, is in a way turning his back on his own people if that makes sense. He did not die a warrior's death after the explosion and was sucked into the Separatist cause. I hope you don't think I'm wanting to get on a soapbox, but you had a fantastic point!

I'm glad you took time to look at my point of view. Its always cool to share ideas between fans. Not soapbox at all. Again, great piece.

i luv the way the kaleesh is in the background. the twi'lek looks dead awesome, just hanging from grievous' claws like that, probably snapped her neck
and the colouring is awesum, it really goes with the scene

Hmm, I'm not sure about the planet... I was thinking of a cross between Geonosis and Tatooine; somewhere dry.

Awesome! You're really good at replicating the Clone Wars style, and this is a creepy pic, both because of the dead Jedi (gotta love green Twi'leks). Cyborg Grievous on the job with a Kaleesh--! I realize that the father isn't there literally, but--I've never thought of that before. Cool.

Lol, well the idea started out with a comparison between cyborg Grievous and Kaleesh Grievous in CW style, but ended taking this direction.
I might try it again if it's not becoming terribly repetitive.

Oh my god! Wow! Again you amaze me with the pose, expression, and overall detail! O_O"
Oh, and there's nothing wrong with watching the series, I used to watch it, bu stopped after the Lair of Grievus episode. It kinda got lame after that. I'll probably give it another chance though, and watch the second season. :b

Yeah, from the previews I saw earlier in the year featuring Cad Bane, he looked a bit like a Clint Eastwood/Indiana Jones ripoff, and I was kinda turned off, but watching the episode where he takes the entire senate council hostage he honestly reminded me of an early character of mine I really got attatched to. Plus, I'm sorry but a villain that flirts with a chick is kind of a turn on for me. XD
I have a friend who HATES him though(So if you're reading this FC SORRY!!!), and I drew a picture for her, you can see it in my gallery lol. It sucks.
I am a bit disappointed that Greevs wasn't in anymore of the episodes, and probably won't be the highlight of season 2, but hey nothing lasts forever. Still love Grievous. :3
Well it's INCREDIBLY cartoonish now. It's almost Saturday Morning cartoon material in terms of the way that the plot is carried out.
Personally in my opinion? The closest thing that has gotten to the original SW that's come out in the 2000s has to be the cartoon CW made in 2003.
Grievous. Kicked. Ass.
Hell, the way the story was carrid out kicked ass as well, and It took it's audience seriously.
Erm, sorry. I talk a lot. Forgive me. :3

No, you don't talk to much; I like knowing other people's opinions. The plot of each episode does seem watered-down. Lol, I saw your picture. It's funny how strongly fans feel towards one character and another. A handful of my friends give me a heck of a time about Grievous. Two like Obi Wan and the other just doesn't like SW. Actually, I bought the CW cartoons recently; Grievous definitely kicks ass there, but the style turns off a lot of people.
Hehehehehehe, Clint Eastwood! I love that.

Haha!
Yeah, Tartovsky's really implemented his style well. I'm not sure who Sarah Bellum is (need to look up), but I had no idea DeMaggio did Bender! I mean, I can barely imagine a slurring Grievous storing beers in his torso and smoking cigars. I enjoy the new CW too; I think I like seeing new stories and alien planets/species. I definately don't watch it for Anakin... which makes me confused, why he can have a padawan? I don't think I've watched enough episodes to have an opinion on Ashoka yet. But yeah... there is that damn sexy cyborg too.
