Featured in portuguese blog Coisas da Interwebs. Have an awesome weekend. If you could please share this feature, I'd really appreciate it, as lots of hard work goes into finding and selecting all the awesome art and running the blog. Thanks!

I'll admit that I have little knowledge on this, but isn't this just turning the art into a png./transparent? I can see why it goes under stock images but not 3D and renders. Aren't renders usually images from a 3d model? (definition on deviantart's description on this category, agrees with this) Apologies in advance for my ignorance, but this doesn't look like a render.

As well, it's great you've credited the artist, but you should probably add a link to the original image. There's probably more than one Oda Non in this world, and it makes it easier to find this person.Β

Plus - have you asked this artist permission / have they publicly stated it's okay to use their work like this? Because if they haven't it might still count as art theft!

Just wanted to point out some things missing in your description, and the odd category it's in. Sorry for the bother!

"Β turning the art into a png./transparent?"

I'm assuming by GFX you mean graphics? So graphic design. But the description for the deviantart category it's currently in is for the final image of a 3d model (with textures and visual effects, etc.) To quote the description deviantart has given of this category: "Stock images rendered with a 3D program of human and humanoid characters."

As far as I can tell, this isn't from a 3d model. I could be wrong though!

Still waiting for a link to the original! This is actually the part I'm most concerned about. This deviation could fall under art theft if it isn't done with the artists permission.

Do you have permission from the artist to modify their work and post it here? If not, then it's stealing. You don't have to be making money from the work or claiming it's your own for it to be considered art theft.
