hehe-It somewhat gives a good reference to the size of the cloud formation.

I'll try to get some more throughout the summer. It's been hit and miss with the thunderstorms lately.

Haha! That definitely can weigh on a person's judgment! I know it ran through my mind a few times!

Wonderful shot. Is it just me, or has the weather been unusually tame this season?

I completely agree! Everything seems to have shifted more to the north in Kansas and Nebraska...

What lens are you using? A lot of people do these kind of storm panos but they're always overprocessed and have visible stitch lines. Excellent work

kylewright In reply to hougaard [2009-05-26 18:56:00 +0000 UTC]
Thank you! My work horse lens is a Sigma f/2.8 24-70mm. I've done some panos in the past, but I really have enjoyed creating them lately. The skies are "larger than life" a lot of the time in Oklahoma and this seems to be the best way to show the expansiveness of it all.

haha-thanks! Hopefully a SAFE tornado capture will be in my near future! The skies have been prime for pictures lately, so I've got about 5 days worth of pictures to go through...and I'm already substantially backed up on here!
