Thank you so much. I have no idea when the colour thing started. Just all of a sudden I got tired of subdued colours and started noticing all of these amazing bright colours around me, so I started shooting them, and I think I've gotten pretty lucky on a few. Again, thank you.

This isn't an insult, or a critique, but I think this seeing of color is a coming of age. I did it. My friends did it. We all seem to go through it. I don't know how to explain, but one day, you wake up, and there is the world. Like you have never seen it before. Pictures are everywhere. Colors are everywhere. It's an epiphany...

I think you're right. It is a kind of epiphany. I suddenly find myself cursing if I forget to bring the camera because there are so many things to capture. I don't want to miss any of it. Part of the nice thing too now is that I'm working with a digital camera. I still prefer film, but I feel more confidant in my pictures now, and I'm not afraid to snap off a dozen or more because I can just delete the ones I don't like. I should have listened to you sooner. >.<

I love the colors and patterns of this picture. All of the colors are stunning. It reminds me of this story that my great-grandmother told me. See, right now she is 99 and 1/2 and she still likes telling her childhood tails. Gypsies would come with their carriage and bright clothing into their town and she said that she remembered once hearing one of the woman yell "Get your kids inside!" Because they all thought that the gypsies would steal their children, and my great-grandmother watched as her father was getting them water from their well and one of the gypsy women tried to steal his wallet...Though my grandmother's mother yelled at him, telling him what was happening and he didn't give them water...The tales that that woman has.
