Well my experiment is not so much an experiment but I registered a print account myself this weekend because I was looking into how to help you with your problems, so I thought what the heck I'll register too. And that's why I submitted this as a test for the print account

Awww.. thankyou that is too kind...did you download the templates..thats where I get confused.. and the resolution thing..which template did you use for this one and is this the original size??

What has me more confused is that when you open a photograph in PS and you check the resolution it always comes up as 72 pixels/inch but for printing quality you need at least 200 pixels/inch or more depending on the size of the print. I don't know how to get it that high without increasing it after which I think you are not supposed to do.
Well it will probably be refused after all, we'll see.
I've though about opening a thread on Utopia about all this but I haven't had the time to go there at all these last few days

Then there is an aspect ratio calculator here..thats how I worked out my ones were 1.33:1[link]
I know that the DPI on photoshop dosent make any difference ..it's the DPI of the figure divide largest X smallest that is the one they use... as you can see here [link] for the life of me I can't work it out .confused:

IMy prob is that when trying to match up on the Template for 1.33:1 nothing fits...?

plus if you load up a small image you cannot choose all the print sizes..the lager the image means you can choose all sizes below that without having to load up separate ones..

Thank you Annette I found the templates myself in the end. I'll have to study all that formats stuff asap. I haven't heard back about the print I've submitted yet so I'm guessing I did it wrong.
I know that small images don't work but my latest ones are usually pretty large. If yours don't fit you might end up having to crop some a little for the dA sizes or ad frames and stuff

Though i need to go through the gallery to see what are the strongest...I have one problem with the cammi...when taking lager resolution pics with it they realy don't come out that well and have a lot of noise..but I trying to work on that..

hmmm... wish I was an expert with the camera, I know the pics need to be pretty high res for printing. I know that the large pics look like they have noise but maybe once you print it you won't see that? Ack I have no idea what I'm talking about, just guessing
btw. I have also openend an account with Shutterstock.com you can earn money there with your pics too but there they have to be even higher resolution.

No I don't know why this happens either...it dosent on hormones camera...so I dread to think what they would look like on the highest res on my cammi...which is a bit of a bummer...

yeah I was never the girl who liked to write poems even though there are some really lovely ones around.

I know, the one I submitted tonight "Addicted", I didn't even have a name until I was writting the description, so I had to come up with something on the spot. I though, well I'm obviously addicted to him, so why not call it that.
