I am from Englandfrom Japan and from Italy
I am from the Renaissance,
the Medieval Ages and Tang Dynasty
I am from time
stories told and untold
whose adventures lead to faraway places
whose adventures I imagine my own.
I am from magic
from witchcraft and wizardry
I am from imagination,
adventures created and not real
from journeys to unknown places.
I am from the knights
who slay dragons and save damsels
from swords and from forest elves.
I am from the written word,
long novels and short stories.
From visual art
From canvas and acrylic
to rivers, lakes, and waterfalls
I am a pirate, a ninja,
A vampire of the light
I am from books
from fantasy and reality
I am from sunsets and moonlight
from fiction and surrealism
I am from creativity.
