Streaming down the window
Rain makes no sound.
It is barely noticed
by all those around

They go about their tasks
with such happy jest.
Rain, they do not notice;
This, I must protest.

How can they not see it?
For it is quite plain
the rain is streaming down
the darkened window pane.

But no one even cares;
and they question not
why the rain is falling.
But there is a lot.

I, though, see the rain,
with my vision clouding,
up in the darkened sky.
Loudly, it is shouting.

I know not the reason.
Please do not ask why
the rain is streaming down
from the darkened sky.
