Description Hours of searching online and I still could not find an affordable motorcycle. Nearly defeated, I typed in the address for Craigslist. Almost immediately, I found a gorgeous green 2004 ninja. It was only $6000 so I jumped on it. For some reason, I was the only person who wanted to buy the bike. That didn’t bother me, though. I was too happy to finally be getting my motorcycle. It didn’t even matter to me who I might encounter when I went to pick it up.
The seller lived in Belfair, Washington and was really excited when I said I was able to pick up the next day with cash. He e-mailed me his address and, the following day, Saturday, I drove out there. I lived in Seattle. The drive took me several hours seeing as I am directionally challenged and got lost trying to locate the secluded house way out in the woods.
When I arrived, a very handsome male walked out of the extravagant white house with exaggerated slowness. I wondered why until he was suddenly at the door of my truck peering at me through the window with the most shocking deep blue eyes. I couldn’t help but notice his long dark hair falling into his eyes and the muscles under his wife-beater shirt.
“Hello,” he said in a suave, seductive voice. “I am Alec. The bike is in the garage.”
“Okay,” I sighed and shuddered at the cold. How on earth was he not wearing a jacket? I was freezing in my two long sleeve shirts and thick winter jacket.
Alec led me around the house into a monstrous garage. Beyond at least six expensive designer cars sat my green bike. I gasped at the sight of it. It was prettier in reality than the pathetic picture online. When the add said immaculate, it meant immaculate.
“You really only want 6000 for this thing?” I asked in awe.
He nodded. “I don’t believe I caught your name.”
That was odd. I didn’t know why it mattered, but I answered, “Rosalyn,” distractedly and turned back to the bike. Its sleek green painted shimmered in the faint garage light. I revved the engine and turned back to Alec to grin exstatically at him.
“So, you like it then?”
I nodded enthusiastically.
After showing me what it could do, Alec took my money and helped me load it into my truck. He didn’t need my help either. The bike looked like it weighed nothing to him, and he effortlessly placed in the bed.
“Do you know how to ride it at all?” he asked before I left.
I blushed. “No…”
“Then let me show you. Come over whenever you’re not busy.”
“Um…” I thought about it for a moment. He didn’t seem like a creeper. So I agreed to come meet him every Saturday until I was ready to go out on my own. What I didn’t know now was what I’d find out about him later, and that it would shock me more that his deep blue eyes.
