Well, I took all of about 2 minutes to help my friend Tenshinchigi (she oft asks me to do critiques for her) by changing her picture to help illustrate (lol) my point.I apparently have her permission (she even told me to put it up), so hopefully I don't get in trouble because she used the wrong kind of license. >_<
This picture was made to just get a point across, and in no way does it show off my artistic skills...
Not that I can actually prove that at the moment, what with this being my only picture on here and all... >_<
Seriously, I need more free time for this stuff. ;_;

Um...I took it down actually.
I took a good look at it one day and said myself. "I suck at life" and removed them.

Oh yeah, before I forget it; give yourself a chance.
Drawing comics takes a lot of work, trial and error and all that jazz. While you might not be happy with the final product; it's still always a valuable learning experience. Find out how to do things through practice, it's the only way to get used to setting up panels and plenty of other comic-related necessities.
If it's related to the story or characters, well... that's up to you to come up with and decide if you like them or not. But there's got to be some reason why you got so interested in those characters that you wanted to draw a comic for them, so there's probably something worth saving there, even if it's used as an idea in something else.
