Doodled this in about half an hour.Am I the only one who thinks that Classic NiGHTS would merclessly beat the shit out of JoD NiGHTS in a fight to the death? I mean, in the first game, you destroy your own brother without a second thought, whereas in JoD, you smack him around a bit then apologize.
I dunno. Maybe it's just me.
Also, on an unrelated note, did you know original NiGHTS had the shark teeth I gave my bastardized thing? No, I'm dead serious. Here's official concept art:

You just need to be more considerate of other people's feelings. If you say you like something and then someone comes to you and tells you off for liking it, then they're a jerk. If a JoD hater comes to a picture of a JoD picture and starts complaining about it, they're wrong for doing that. So in the same aspect if you're going around finding people that don't like JoD and give them a hard time, you're not any better than those people I mentioned before. Just keep that in mind the next time you find anti-JoD art or something else you don't like. If you don't like something, don't go out and harass people that do. This person made something for their own personal gallery and was not targeting anybody, and didn't go to a JoD fanart and start complaining about what they don't like about the sequel.

Yes, and I think a part of that is your age. Once you get a little bit older and start being less reactive to things, it'll help a lot. Unless you run into a troll, in which case they'll continue trying to work you up. Criticism is difficult to deal with for most people, so I do understand. Unless someone comes to you and tries to start things, I wouldn't try to go out and find people to have an argument with. Everybody is entitled to their opinion with movies and games and it's no reason to try and make somebody apologize for liking or disliking something unless they go out of their way to hate on the -people- that hate a certain thing. Like Twilight, Justin Bieber, or any other type of media that tends to have mixed opinions. I don't like a lot of TV shows and musicians, but I don't try to find people that do and tell them they're wrong.

Exactly. I mean, maybe I'm looking too far into it, but we were never told if NiGHTS was even a good guy in game one. We just know he didn't like how things were going, and gave everyone the middle finger. As far as I know, I just assisted a villian.
But yeah, JoD NiGHTS was waaaaaay too nice.

God knows, I will give the dubbing studio points for Reala's voice as it did just about suit. NiGHTS however...-shudder-

Oh God yeah. D: To his credit, Reala's voice actor did manage to get that slime ball feeling into the dialogue at some point. NiGHTS was like... expression-less, awkwardly-fake-and-British, and strangely female. I could write a list of why that voice made me gouge my eyes out with safety scissors.

I didn't like how generalized NiGHTS' voice was. They could of gotten in a VA who could do that sort of androgynous voice, so you can't tell -nod- because of that voice, the newer fans demand that NiGHTS be considered a female o_O; It's so annoying.

Yeah. To be honest, I would have preferred NiGHTS to be silent as he was in the first game, communicating more through expressions and movements. Alas, that would mean work on SEGA's part; besides, animating a hands-on-hips idle position is too much fun.
