There are so many tedious little details. Your art reminds me of this piece I did [link] .
I don't draw surrealism very often but it is my favorite type of art! It's a lot harder to get inspired for surrealism, here is my gallery with my surreal work [link] .
I really love your art and it makes me want to draw more surreal work.

that's a nice drawing you did and your gallery is getting there... as for inspiration to surrealism i find it to be quite easy to get inspired, same with abstract, i am glad that my work wants to make you draw more surreal art.... you should continue to think weirdly and otherworldly and see what you can produce....

Thank you!!! Thank you for watching me too!
I am just obsessed with your art! I have a picture I'm working on that I need to finish before I start any new art. I hope when I start you will check out and comment on my work!
I haven't been able to look through every one of your pictures but I am very excited to; I plan to do it soon.

It's like something from a strange dream edging on a nightmare. From the round space in the middle I get the feeling when you look at a clock in a dream and something about it just isn't right... There's a very tactile feel to this picture that gives me the chills. Great work!

much obliged...... as for strange, it really was, not sure if it was a nightmare since most of my dream would seem like nightmares..... if it gives you the chills then that's great for me

I think dreams are awesome, and nightmares can be pretty interesting. And indeed, I took another look at the picture, and it still gives me the chills. There's something unnerving in the middle part, like walking over a clearing and then suddenly feeling the touch of a bony hand on your shoulder. You've captured something subliminal and Dali-esque here.

ye dreams and nightmares are so awesome... you kind of see a part of your self you never thought bloody existed...... i never thought the middle part was so unnerving, that's a good thing within my work, but i like your interpretation of this piece.... humans have many different ways of seen one thing and is always interesting to hear it... so thanks.... also dali is one of my favourite artist (like no one ever heard a sentence like that before)

Yeah, the stuff I dream is really weird, and I recall my dreams from almost every night - it's like living in two worlds. I love to discuss dreams with people, it's fascinating - you can see another side of them as well. Making art from dreams you've seen can be really satisfying, too. And yeah, Dali rocks.

i like what you said recalling your dreams is like living in two worlds.... even though dreams do have definition i sometimes find it hard to define mine i have a book on definitions but nothing i see is ever in the book......as for making art from dreams... well if i wake up and by some miracle i remember the dream FULLY, i draw it, that way i can forget it and is on paper.

Yeah, I think you need to do the interpreting on your own, because dream symbols tend to be pretty personal and they reflect your own memories. I think my interest in poetry began when I wrote down my dreams in high school and tried to figure out what they meant by free-associating around each image. However, maybe I should try drawing more of my dream-images directly on paper... There's a lot in them that seems to escape words.

yeah interpreting my own surreal dreams will be a interesting.... i think poetry and inspiration from your dreams go well together, i mean yes you can also draw them and see how it looks like but the poetry thing that's pretty awesome....... or even something like incorporating drawing and poetry together.....

Indeed. Nowadays I usually almost always accompany my drawings with poems... In any case, I suppose you can learn to better dream awake if you look at your dreams first.

No offence, but you act as if your work is some profound psychological thing but this just looks like lots of tiny little patterns with dramatic empty spaces, it looks nice, but it is in no way impressive or signigicant.

i never take much offence with critique on my stuff because if i did then is not fit to been an artist..... to different people it could mean something to most it will not, but i know what it means to me since i seen it and drawn it.... i tend to be a very negative person who dislikes a lot of things, especially people, im not trying to be psychological but you seem to think i might be...
