I finally got around to seeing some of PPGZ. Not all the episodes were available, a few were in bad quality.I liked how the character's voices said the episode's title, and they made a great Christmas special, and they did okay on Princess, Sedusa, Fuzzy and Ace....otherwise, I don't see what it did better than the 2016 show.

I don't see why anybody would like PPGZ. It just feels like a stereotypical magical girl anime.

Speaking of which... strange that you complain about transformation sequences (Which i love, because of how awesomely they are animated, PPGZ transformations are one of my favorite transformation sequences). ...Yet you seem to be a fan of Ronin Warriors, which have them as well?

Yes. The transformations sequences in PPGZ were longer than need be. And I don't get why they were dancing around.
The transformation sequences in Ronin Warriors, Sailor Moon, Thundercats, Silverhawks or Mummies Alive werre more quick and to the point, while still visually stunning.

Well, back in 2008, when i first watched PPGZ, those transformation sequences were the best for me. They looked very funky and stylish.
Either way... after watching Precure (Which is basically DBZ with girly girls. What i mean is girls in frilly dresses fight like Z-Warriors), where transformations are much longer, PPGZ transformations are pretty short.
Not to mention... you do know that in real time, transformation takes less than a second, while it's expanded for the viewer? ^_^
Oh yeah, speaking of Precure... it's really is a... DBZ but with girls.

I kinda love PowerPuff Girls Z, because when i first started watching PowerPuff Girls in 2008, i've also started watching PPGZ at the same time... and i loved them both, but currently i prefer the PPGZ... i just love the music (it's marvelous) the art style (Is very unique by anime standarts, making a rather unique cartoony anime style) i love the girl's personalities (I love that Blossom is more ditzy. Smart people don't need to always act smart, you know), and also it was a huge inspiration for me to finally start drawing by myself instead of redrawing, and it's one of the most important things in my life.
...That being said... i want to make my own PPG, i will call it PPGX... and it would be more darker and edgier, PPGs would be criminals that fight for justice against evil mayor that wants to summon a demon lord known as "HIM" and Mojo Jojo assists him... and Mojo Jojo would be a genius that always thinks far ahead. (Even when his robots or monsters lose, it was all part of his plan), but he also acts very insane. (In fact, his speech is basically illogical and he always says contradictory stuff and moves like a psychopath) but despite that he's a genius. (And, in fact, he's actually a Professor Utonium after he became mutated by HIM's blood), and Chemical X is actually HIM's blood.
I know it sounds too edgy... but that is the point. I want my PPGX to be as 00's cartoon edgy as awesome. ...like Loonatics Unleashed. (I know it's a crap show, but i love how edgy it is)

PPGZ's music didn't catch on with me personally. I guess you're right about its art style being more cartoony than others. Of course I have also read manga like One Piece, My Hero Academia, or Bobobo, with irregular styles.
Sounds like you got some cool ideas for a dark and edgy PPG. Maybe Fuzzy Lumpkins could be a savage sasquatch type creature that doesn't talk? Gangreen Gang could be more adept at street level crimes, and had become mutated from some toxic pollution? Maybe Buttercup could have more episodes about controlling violent impulses? Bubbles could struggle being kind and sweet in a harsh city? Just ideas

Asobi Asobase, for instance. It looks like a normal anime at first... but then they start making very scary faces... for humor.
Oh, i already have ideas for them ^_^ Fuzzy will be a boy who got transformed into a pink beast with long laser tail. Gangreen Gang is a Super Sentai (or Power-Rangers) kind of team that believe that PowerPuff Girls are criminals, As for girls... Blossom is still smart, but she acts like a show-off girl and loves to make fun of enemies (as in, making them look like fools). Bubbles is still joy and laughter... too much, she just loves hopping around and playing with criminals in painful games (For them). And Buttercup... She's still Toughest Fighter... albeit she's more feminine than original. As she wants to be a figure skater and her fighting style involves kicking like a figure skater. She can get enraged still.
I kinda want my PPGX to be somewhat Demonic, considering that they were born from... HIM's blood.

Actually these are the reboot girls dissing the ppgz. You can tell because Buttercup has a rooster tial, Blossom's bow is rounded, and Bubbles has little hair scrunchies.

well, it did try at least go for something new in it's animation...haven't watch all the episodes, but it was fun.

In ppgz the Rowdyruffs just did gross stuff, and didn't really fight.
