Kyu, you outdid yourself on this one. It looks absolutely stunning and the detail is perfect! This has got to be one of the best drawings you have ever done! If not the best! (Unless it's that new scanner doing everything. XP Also "Pffff~" to you too. XD)

Alright, time to do a little describing here and I guess you can post it in the description box. ^-^

What's going on here is that Mooncatcher has been cursed with the blood of the Sil Naakin. Translated into Soul Eater. An ancient cult that worships the beasts happened to abduct Moon while him and Kyu were camping out in the woods one night as he left to go collect more firewood. As he walked around, he was knocked unconscious and brought back to the cults camp. There, they performed a ritual on the stallion, "blessing" him with the curse that causes Mooncatcher to take form of the beast every full moon and prowl throughout the night, hunting for prey to fulfill his hunger. 

Later on, as Kyu began to worry about her companion, she went to go search for him. Only to be alerted to a bloodcurdling howl that sounded from beneath the unforgiving darkness. Fearing that whatever made this noise was near Mooncatcher, the Pegasus darted forward through the forest, hoping to find him unharmed. Suddenly she spotted a limp figure lying down in the middle of a small clearing, the light from the full moon shining above illuminated the figure and Kyu quickly recognized Moon's familiar coat. His shoulders slowly rose up and down as he breathed with his head lying down, as if he was injured. However something was off about the unicorn. His fur seemed shaggy and a darkly shade. Slowly stepping forward, she cautiously spoke. The bells on her scarf broke the night's silence as they jingled slightly in the wind.

"Moon? Is that you?" The gray mare reached a hoof forward to poke the tan stallion's shoulder. His breathing was raspy as if he had been coughing.

As soon as she felt Moon's coat, he instantly whirled around, causing the pegasus to jump back in shock as he pounced on her.

"Get off-" her shout was cut off with a gasp as she stared at what used to be her partner. The skin and muscle was shredded off his face and the only that remained was his skull. Where his warm, dark scarlet eyes used to be were now gone as all she could see was the dark, heartless pits of his eye sockets. 

As the creature pinned her to the ground, she noticed that it shook its head and lifted itself up slightly, as if Moon was still in there. Taking the moment, Kyu used her hindlegs to kick the hideous beast off her. She then quickly rose to her hooves and finally got a good glance at her former friend.

"Oh gods no..." She rose her hoof up to her mouth as she felt her heart drop from the horrifying sight revealed by the moonlight. 

Moon's body looked as if had been mangled. His hooves were replaced with long, sharp claws and his legs had grown longer and his waist was shriveled to the point where you could see every rib of his underneath his coat. His broad shoulders stuck out as he rose back to his feet and it looked as if he was merely a skeleton covered in skin. The most disturbing sight though, was when Kyu was able to see his face. 

The Shaman's face was now a complete skull, his teeth had grown sharper and longer, his jaw looked as if it were dislocated yet was still attached from some tendons left behind. Moon's horn had also changed, it had grown and became more jagged. It had pieces of bone sticking out it that twisted off like branches. As the moon shined down on them, the gems on his horn glistened while she was able to see that he did have eyes, however they were small and glowed a bright white. However as he turned his head towards her, the part of his face that was shadowed from the moon lost its cold glow and was left with an empty, dark abyss that was filled with only death.

The creature then let out a low, menacing growl that was mixed with a type of wheezing. It placed its claws underneath it and slowly walked forward to Kyu. Its tongue lolled out of its jaws as it spread its jaw out. Whatever had happened to Moon, he was now gone and replaced with this demon.

"Moon! Please, it's me! Kyu!" The mare felt tears building up in her eyes as she stood her ground, preparing herself for a fight that would possibly end with her killing the stallion she had been traveling with for so long and helping to train. "You have to snap out of this!"

The creature only continued to move forward as it ignored the mare. It then lowered itself down onto its haunches. Kyu knew what was coming, it was about to pounce. Readying herself, she spread her wings out, praying that this nightmare would end so she could wake up to see that everything was normal. The only thing that had happened though, was that the creature pounced towards her, it howling into the cold, night air with its claws extended, waiting to kill its next meal.

I'll admit, that would probably scare the crap outta me if it was lurking around in the shadows, waiting... watching for the right moment to strike, but~ the Jabberwocky strikes first.
Anywho! You did another smashing job, Kyu. ^-^
Looks like a big pickle has broken out, figure of speech. I don't know exactly what caught my eye first, the bone looking face, Kyu's reaction, or that skinny waist on the WareMoon. The detail is excellent.
