Description

This is the first headdress design for my gothic lolita line Black Tea. My designs tend to favour the more dark/punk side of lolita but I will be forcing myself to put out some bright designs in time.

I don't have access to a lot of materials right now so I'm designing with what I have in the house. The ruffles are hand made out of the same flocked organza that comprises the top layer of the piece.

I was going with something more simple to start with, it's easy to get carried away with details when you're making these things.

This took approximately two days from drafting a pattern to the end.
