"The grand kitsune had promised the great shinobi ultimate power, the skill of a thousand warriors to protect his village, at a price of calling upon his services, once every month for the rest of his life. The shinobi agreed to the deal, thinking he had saved his people from the invaders, but never could he have foretold what the kitsune had planned next for him. Dark magic shrouded the warrior, twisting his bones, shifting his organs, and corrupting his mind. The Shinobi's screams of pain turned into the roars of a feral beast as the power surged through his veins. Though he tried to fight the beast within with every ounce of brute strength he had, it was to no avail. The warrior who had given everything to protect his village, was now to be its harbinger for a new dynasty and a vessel for the kitsune's will, once every month, for the rest of his life."

A very short story to describe what was going on here. This was a request to redo one of my older works from many many months ago [link]
