Description
This is a commission someone requested.I wrote some requested text in the lower-right corner but glassed it out with Photoshop for his and her privacy for this release.
He was more worried about time than quality so I had to rush it more than I like and leave out some of the tiny details. Oh well.
For that reason I drew it on the grainy sketching paper I have.
Pencils: 4H-3B.
Paper: 9Γ12 70lb Sketching Paper.

I think this is an incredibly realistic portrait. There's something about the hair on the left that doesn't seem quite right, though...
But I would never be able to draw something like this anyway. Amazing job!

I love how you did her hair as well as the eyes. Theyβre gorgeous! The way you draw (you use Bs right?) is really soft and very endearing.

Considering that there were time constraints, this is amazing. I think the details in the face are just fine, but the hair might need just a bit more value in some places - near the top it's a nice gradation from dark to light but from that point to the end it's all pretty much the same, so I think a couple more darks in there might have made it more dimensional. Same goes for the hair flowing around the neck area - it's a little confusing as to where the hair ends and the neck begins.
And I hope I can learn more myself from seeing your portraits. Do you mind if I devwatch you?
