Yes, the common myna can imitate speech. My own can respond as well. For example, he was taught to say "bawk bawk bawk" when asked what a chicken says. Also, for object permanence, it's when a human or animal (humans achieve this at a certain age) sees something hidden, and still knows it exists.Β
