Description
Guess who got the opportunity to make a second Dainty? This girl, yaaaay! So, I took my opportunity to make this sweet, innocent little angel of a Dainty, Rainie! She's honestly way cuter than she should be, all things considered. I love her way more than I should, and that's a good thing. She's also approved, so... Yaaaaaaaaaay!! (I think I may have unintentionally based her off of this song , but I love the song as much as it makes me cry, so that's okay!)
So, here's her bio! Also, she's definitely open for relationships! She needs some! (Help Katrin and her grow the Rainie Protection Squad!) So throw your babies at me!

PERSONALITY
Personality: Rainie is quite reminiscent of a raincloud in her personality and mannerisms. What she sees as her biggest and worst flaw comes in the form of her crying very, VERY easily. She's incredibly sensitive, sentimental, shy, scared, and nervous, and will easily start crying the second she's troubled. She has some pretty huge issues with trust and abandonment, and she'll get incredibly clingy to people who she feels comfortable around. She attempts to be independent as much as she can, following in her friend Katrin's footsteps, but she can't help depending on others that she trusts won't leave her. She has very little confidence in herself, and sees almost everything about herself as a flaw, some bigger than others. She considers herself to be selfish for always crying and feeling bad, though it truly isn't the case. In fact, if she's kept happy and feels secure enough, she can actually show herself to be a very sweet and innocent girl. If she lets herself let loose, she can get surprisingly talkative, contrary to her shy and quiet nature, and can even get genuinely happy and smile, which she admittedly loves doing, though she can't pull herself out of her sadness for long enough to get that way on her own. She has a giant heart, and often tries her hardest to help others, especially those that seem "smaller than her", such as animals and children. However, with her big heart comes her naivete and her easy manipulability. She can be very easily swayed into helping others, and is usually left with only the realization that she was manipulated as a result.
Likes: Katrin and her other friends, kind people, the rain, stormy weather, her coat, Triste, crying (In a way, it does help to comfort her and lets her vent), umbrellas, stuffed animals, animals (Especially bunnies and frogs), the colors blue and gray/black, her stockings, oversized clothing (Especially sweaters), soft and fluffy things, playing with her hair, painting with watercolors, soothing music (Especially music box tunes), singing (Though she doesn't think she's good at it), milk (Especially blueberry milk, it's her favorite kind), fairytales, cooking and baking
Dislikes: Herself (In many ways), her host (So much so that she doesn't consider him to be her host anymore, but she's unable to leave him without him finding her again), yelling, being hurt, being without Triste or her coat, feeling too "needy", venting to people (It makes her feel more selfish), hearing about modern-day news, covering up her stockings too much, places where it never rains, her scars (She regrets giving them to herself every day), getting "dangerously sad" (AKA depressed to the point of having thoughts of self-harm and suicide), being so easy to bruise, blood and gore, the color red (Though she can tolerate pinks and light reds, just not rich, bright, or dark reds that remind her of blood), realistic stories, revealing clothing, hurting people
Fears: Her host, getting "dangerously sad", medication, doctors, hospitals, needles, the dark (To an extent)
Quirks: Her saliva tastes like fresh dew (If you can imagine how that tastes, basically that fresh scent after rain, but in a taste); her favorite fairytale is that of Cinderella, as she feels that she can relate to Cinderella in the beginning, and hopes for her life to turn out like Cinderella's in the end being happy with a Prince (or Princess) Charming that won't hurt her; her hooves are very reminiscent of glass, in the way they look, feel, and sound while she walks, and she likes to joke about them being her "glass slippers" sometimes; she's actually built up a pretty strong immune system, and she speculates it's because of all the time she spends out in the rain where she can easily get sick; apparently, she's been told, her great-grandfather was actually a god of the weather, particularly storms, and while she doesn't exhibit any traits of that like her grandmother and mother (To an extent) aside from her raincloud patterns on her ears and tail, her birthmark, and her blue hair/eyes, she was able to teach herself some minor weather-based magic because of it (Discussed below); she likes to have conversations with Triste, and even if it can't speak back to her, she still enjoys it as it soothes her; when she gets the chance, she loves to paint pictures, usually either abstract patterns with pretty colors, rain and storm-based paintings, generally sad paintings, or recreations of her favorite scenes in fairytales, though she doesn't have much confidence in her talents; she doesn't like hearing about the news because it scares her to no end, and she hates realistic stories because they both bore and sadden her; she panics almost instantly if she hears or sees anything pertaining to anything with medical connotations, blood and gore, or abuse of some kind that isn't what she goes through; one of her favorite things to do is cook and bake, and she takes great joy in such activities, regardless of who it's for; she is so attached to Triste because it was the first stuffed animal she received as a child from her mother, and one of the only remnants she has left of her that was meant for her and her alone, she likes to believe that when she cuddles with it, it's like her mother being there for her again
ABILITIES
Occupation: None, really? She kinda wants to get a job of some sort, but jobs outside of sexual things are hard for her kind to find where she lives
Weapons: None really beside the obvious stuff, though her favorite umbrella has a very sharp point that she could probably stab someone with it she really wanted to
Powers: She has some minor storm-based magic, for example, she can summon little rainclouds and thunderstorms for herself, though she has yet to learn how to fully change the weather

HISTORY
History:Rainie was born to a Dainty mother and an usagimimi father. She was raised in a community where Dainties were generally despised, and were usually the target for most horrible crimes. As such, her and her family were quite paranoid, and often she and her mother didn't go outside, letting her father do that instead. Her father wasn't around much because of this, and she often laid low with her mother so as not to let anyone know they lived there. Though, while at home, her mother helped her by homeschooling her, along with teaching her how to get the housework done with her assistance. Despite their conditions, they still made sure to keep themselves a kind and loving family, and treated each other with as much respect and love as they could. They continued their little life together for quite some time, until Rainie was ten. At that point, things took a turn for the worse when her father was laid off of his work. They fell into awful financial hardships, and at that point her mother finally decided to step up and try to help. She searched and searched for work, eventually finding some in the form of prostitution. Of course, Rainie and her father were against it, but they knew that they needed the money, and if it was the only job that her mother could secure, they would have to let her. She started up her work, and they were able to sustain themselves once again... Until her mother turned up missing a year after she started. Rainie and her father were absolutely distraught, and after multiple failed attempts at finding her, they fell into depression. Out of just how far down she had gotten, Rainie started harming herself as an outlet for her pain, along with having multiple daily crying sessions. Her father found out about it, and decided then to get both her and himself some help. He found them a therapist that was okay with Dainties, and started talking to them with Rainie. Things started out fine... Until said therapist started seeing Rainie "privately". Within that time, he started showing his true intentions to her, and solicited her against her will. She was unable to say anything to her father, and just kept dealing with it for the year that they continued seeing said therapist. However... Over that year, she noticed her father wasn't getting much better, and was instead getting worse in his depression. She tried to comfort him through that time, though it just didn't work out. By the end of that year, she started noticing signs that he was getting to a point she only knew to call "dangerously sad". However, before she could help him out of that, he did the unthinkable. Late one night, she heard some noises that she was unsure of. She checked on him, and found him dead, seemingly after an overdose of medication, seeing he had left her his coat, umbrella, the final amounts of money he had left, a train ticket, and a note telling her to get out of the city she was in, and get somewhere where she would be appreciated. She was terrified, but did as she told, packing her bags and getting on the train late at night with her only companion, Triste. She made her way to a new town that sounded nice to her, and decided to try and look for a new home there. Eventually, she ran into her host, who lured her into his home with his smile and sweet words. However, soon after moving in with him, he showed his true colors and began abusing her. She had no idea what to do, and simply took the abuse, which slowly ate away at her confidence and what little strength she had left. This continued for six years, with some breaks here and there for her host's business trips where she was left alone to do as she pleased. At this point in her life, while she was eighteen, she ran into Katrin. The two bonded and became close friends, and as soon as Kat found out what Rainie went through at her home, she decided to form the (unofficial) Rainie Protection Squad to try to keep her safe and away from her host. However, no matter the attempts, she couldn't get away from her host completely. However, having Katrin there helped her through the next three years of her life until her present life.
