I was a bit surprised at first because I'm used to the spectacular House Leo look and was somewhat expecting to see some antique influence into other houses' design as well, but it most certainly looks very promising and nicely realistic, as far as I can tell, in shapes and proportions. I look forward to see more.

yep, not all houses are created equal. the most antique influences in this house are a lot more subtle, the design of the helmets are partially inspired by macedonian helmets, and pikemen for this house also carry shields that are remeniscient of the shields that the macedonian pikemen used to use as well, but its offset by their more modern/renassience style attire and arms. i imagine that while this houses troops are of a much inferior quality to house leos (atleast the pikemen vs footmen), but they make up for it with an emphasis on numbers and formations. one twig is easy to break, but a dozen together is much more difficult.

These going to be the Leo rivals?

i dont think theyll be their direct rivals since design wise theyre actually kinda similar (late medieval influenced armor) but theyre definitely another house in the same empire.
