This really looks like where I was staying a few months ago, in the Cotswolds... Down to the same stacked-stone wall, the same exact gate, same guide circles on the post, same foliage... I'm completely flooded with memories.

do you know areas like ogmore porthcawl and bridgend, as with pencoed i remember that place quite well saying that and forgive me if i'd already mentioned this but i"m originally from wales now live in essex
