What a nice portrait !
Fisrt it is based on 3 major colours : black, white and red. The colors have been studying with a really nice sens of mode. The other particular point is the sight of the model. You cannot just look at this picture without stop by her wonderful deep blue eyes. They are lightful, impressive and at the same time really giving life to the whole picture.
Secondly, the gobal style, very 50's, is well done. 50's will be the 2010's most used style. You can see it on last campain for Vuitton or other trends.... The picture completely correponds to that impression. The hair cut and the red node up her head is giving this impression of a nice and kind young women of the 50's.
The post production must have been hard, because you still have texture on the skin and at the same time it's looking like silk. The face is great and does not present the usual faults of over post producting.
To conclude I could say that this picture truly deserves a DD because of its beauty and technics.

well, the lightning actually was like that and my eye colour really is blue with orange circles in the middle. The light might have made them look a bit brighter than usual but all in all I didn't use any filter or anything - even if, of course, I used some photoshop for the beauty retouch
