This is a lovely portrait, quite distinguished and stylish. The dress is delicate and refined. I like a lot her pose, it gives me the feeling of dignity, of aristocracy, sure of herself to the world. A simple but correct background with the objective to giving enough light to the model for showing her dress but avoiding to get attention from it. A remarkable work of make-up. I love the whole concept of making like a circle or oval form around the model, in that way she look even more impressive and beautiful. Extraordinary combined work of the whole team to obtain this artwork.

I always find La Esmeralda's portraits visually pleasing!
The combination of excellent photography, moody, melodramatic editing, stunning costumes and the gorgeous La Esmeralda make for a breathtaking piece!
I think that the title of this piece is very appropriate, though, I would have select something a little more melodramatic. Something with a hint of modern Gothic mixed with steam punk with a dash of the Victorian era...
Also, I find that the pose that La Esmeralda is in makes me rather uncomfortable... I don't know whether this was the intention? I would consider having her leisurely sit in a wingback chair... Or why not change the environment entirely and have a photo taken with a black horse out in the forest?
