wonderful work on the background i believe.
the piece itself shows a lot of distress and alarm, this would probably be totally different with a different background.

This is very well done! The expressions are lovely and full of emotion. The thing I notice the most id the hair on the child. It's not as detailed at the rest of the picture, other than that, I like it
