From: Dragonlance novel series

Raist is my favorite character from the Dragonlance series, and I've always been angered by how OLD the cover artists always make him look in their paintings. He's only in his mid-20s, dammit. Stop making him look like a wrinkly old grampa!!!

Yes, I colored it with markers.
I gave him layered clothing since he's portrayed as being so frail in the books, I figured he'd probably wear layers to keep himself warm.
It's been quite a while since I last looked at this piece. It's hard to believe it's already been six years since I put it down on paper. LOL How time flies.

Hooray for Dragonlance fanart! There really isn't enough of it on deviantART (or anywhere else on the Internet, for that matter). Thank God the majority of it is of Raistlin; he's my favorite character in the series.

well, Nightwish is a, uh, Aqquired taste. They're a Finnish opera-metal band. Have ONE song on Yahoo!'s Launch, "Wish I Had An Angel" .

And it was a Rai-Rai-Sama pic. I had to comment. There is just NO DragonLance fanart around here, and thankfully what little there is is either of Raistlin or (sorta thankfully) Dalamar... Doesn't help that Dal's the only character I can do justice! Or Raistlin before the tests, but no-one seems to recognize him, lol.
