"Finding the Isles in the condition she feared they would be in, only hardened her resolve to once more, even if battle would ensue as a result, work what creative magic she could to bring them back to their original state. Oh why had she allowed herself to linger so long in the glories of the eternal home with her Mother and Father. But then it had been not like lingering as a mortal would, never was it that way for her, it was as if all the time she had spent there had been only one month instead of almost three centuries. Oh Darius had been busy those three centuries and now she had come back to re-make first the land that had called to her first out of its pain. Then it had been the wails of her people as they fled Darius and the cruelties he could inflict upon mortal and immortal alike. When first her eyes of green had spotted her precious Kingdom, she had shuddered at the desolation, and even the flowers that appeared at her first step upon the land began to wither as she left them. But Kay was no ordinary Royal, she was a Warrior as well, taught by the best, a Laird of Great Power she had come to know as her Father. She wondered if he had also heard the tears falling as they hit the ground of the inhabitants of the land as they fled in their suffering. Finally, with the help of the land itself, she was able to begin with the forests and after many a day and night of mortal time, she had become weary and laid down upon the very path she was using to rest, and sleep won over. As her eyes closed, she dreamed and she dreamed of her heart's desire, not knowing that he had already heard her call, a wail, a howling of pain and as she slept he had come to her, out of the night, to watch over her, bringing forth from her that Spirit of her that was like his own. Oh the joy she would have when she finally awoke, to see him there, with his eyes almost the same color as her own, filled with concern, but also filled with love, like no mortal could ever know."
