Description After not being able to upload anything in quite some time due to multiple reasons I've finally finished this. I've actully worked on this one for the past 3 weeks. I could never be satisfied with the outcome. But I think it's time to stop self critizing and put t he wacom down and close photoshop, I am done with this one. I hope you enjoy this. I think it speaks for itself.

I really like the overall composition, but something seems odd about the lighting. You have bright moonlight in the back, so bright it is lighting the castle and mist. And it's a blue type of moonlight.

However, in the foreground the box and the pirate's cheek and the left tree/vines are lit with a much warmer light. If there's a fire or torch in front of the pirate (behind the viewer and the camera) then I'd expect warm light reflected on the rapier too, as well as shadows agreeing with the direction of the bright golden light.

I still love the overall pic, but you asked for critique!

Thanks you are absolutely right I think my original intend was to add an additional light source for that but totally forgot to do that at the end lol, guess I need to go back and fix that LOL

OK...going to be forthright and honest. The first couple of times I looked at this, I thought "As usual for her." but it didn't quite hit me. After looking at it a few times, it's a bit busy for me, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's a lot to see and it just takes time to absorb it all.

Great image, hon. Like how the treasure chest in front has kind of a Pulp Fiction briefcase feel to it.

Hey thanks! Yeah I think that was one of the problems why I was hesistating on posting it because I did think that it was too busy, but really it isn't if that makes sense rofl. and lol @ pulp fiction
