Description
Since the fall of Ring Man X/Pharoah Man X's geocities site, I have not seen a good Ray sprite in the Sonic 1/2/CD/Crackers style. While his was based on Sonic Crackers with the ring in hand, mine is based directly on Sonic 1, complete with the arm flaps and two expressions: Anxious (no rings), and normal (has rings). Like Tails, his tail and body are separate sprites. Ray will stand still with tail swishing while idle, looking behind him every so many frames. Ray's hit sprite will also be animated, with eyes bugging out, and his arms flailing, and his legs kicking.

Ray glides like Knuckles, but cannot damage enemies via gliding. Rather, he gets knocked down (sans loss of rings). Same if Ray glides into a wall. When you let go of A, B, or C while gliding, Ray will fall down, curled into a ball, as if falling from a normal spin jump.
