ForMore art for the pirate event and another super fun one to do! I spent a whole day just roughing out concept sketches for the characters, the boat and the background. Then I had to work out how I wanted to pose everyone. Some gave me more trouble than others. Then I spent the last day and a bit sketching it out, inking it up and then colouring it all
It feels like ages since I've been so transfixed in working on a picture.So Helga, Blake, Dee, Branch, Morgana and Jace have hopped aboard the North Wind and are sailing off around Faraway Island in search of treasure. Once again I really enjoyed painting the background. I even drew Armonia on the island but it's somewhat hidden behind Dee.
Very happy with this one ^^
Hope I did all my volunteers' characters justice. I had to simplify everyone's outfits down to work with the style. Hope that's okay...

Oooh the boat gave me such trouble because I picked an angle that made doing the front bit tricky. I ended up just not drawing some parts to simplify it.

I have waaaaaay too much time on my hands since I work at a school and it's now the summer holidays. So I can spend days just sitting and drawing and watching reruns of Buffy.
I wasn't entirely sure how I should go about Morgana's curls...There isn't much in the way of curly hair in WW. So yes, we shall say the salty hair did a number on it >_>
