I drew this because I love Ravio. o v o thought I could share it on DA?He's awesome. I want to draw him more, but I have so many commissions to do that I won't get the chance to for some time XD
By the way, I really like a Link Between Worlds guys
It has lots of fun things in it, plus new and old stuff to keep people happy and interested. I have not been this happy with a Zelda game since Wind Waker.but I hate Hilda so much, sorry! Just my opinion!
This is something quick and lazy looking, but you know what? I really like the results, I think my cell-shade is getting a lot better in photoshop!
even though I finished the game, I still want absolutely NO spoilers posted in comments! Spoilers will result in comments to be hidden.

It's a cute little bird that pretty much mimics his adorable actions and is in charge of scooping up all the rented items that you drop when you die

i found a good letsplayer who's blowing through this game at a decent clip, which is good because i wanted to see it!
and so far this guy is great. i love how for once link's house is useful for something.

Like I said, I was very satisfied with how it came out. I was pretty worried too since a Link to the Past is among my favorite Zelda titles, and I didn't want this game to be bad.

It didn't look too bad when I saw the trailers. Also the graphics and flow of gameplay just blew me away also, so clean, so fast. And it just flows so naturally too

but Link to the past is special to me. I didn't want the game to make it look bad. We really can't judge a game by just how it looks in trailers. Have to play it for ourselves, you know? Anyone can make a game look fun with trailers.

Not only that, but the game is held highly by many others. Link to the Past is often considered one of the best Zelda games and one of the best SNES games out there! A Link Between Worlds had quite the reputation to live up to!

I guess your right on that one, I mean game informer gave ALBW a perfect 10 saying "It's Everything a fan could hope for". And I gotta admit it's pretty good for a sequel to a popular SNES game. But that's just my opinion

I always just thought Majora's Mask was just an easter egg really~ Besides, it was in Link's house before Ravio.

Yeah, it's just an easter egg, but there is potential for us to see it again considering the whole multiple timeline thing. And I didn't notice it was there at first, at least not until I checked in a second save file.
I was glad with how it ended too, I just wish we had a bit more story segments in between the beginning and end. Those brief segments after collecting two members of the 7 each time just wasn't enough.
Yeah, probably best not to risk spoiling anything, since it's so new.

Meh, I'd rather just see a Majora's Mask remake. I'd rather have the game as it was meant to be, rather a dumb 'alternative timeline' title.
Thing is, I felt the story was REALLY messing with A Link to the Past as it was, cutting that game into shreds with what little they DID give us. I'm more than happy they didn't focus so much on story, butchering my beloved SNES title, and focused on characters and their development throughout the game!
It was a nice change from games in the series recently that tried to way hard and fell flat

Oh, believe me, I've been wanting them to redo Majora's Mask for years. That trailer last year about killed me when I found out it was fake.
Well, yeah, they only gave us a bit in A Link to the Past, but then, it was a different time then. Gamers didn't expect as much back then from a story, and the tech didn't always allow for deep stories either. But there's plenty of Zelda fans who want stories that, maybe not too deep and complicated, but at least more active.

I thought it was a brilliant mix of story without taking away from the fun of the game, while also focusing on characters OTHER THAN ZELDA AND LINK to create this plot. You got to see characters grow and change so much. It put so much emotion in the game. More than I've seen in a Zelda for nearly a decade.
You have to remember this game is indeed a sequel to a very renouned and famous title in the series. They had to tread very lightly while developing this game so not to step on and crush the prior legacy, but add to it. The plot it did have was very close to pushing it to far as it was, messing with the already established ALttP. Any more and it would have turned into the KH series...a game constantly contradicting points established as fact previously, scrambling to cover these contradictions with poorly thought out plot devices that don't make sense.
I think the lack of success most of the newer Zelda titles have is evidence enough that the series shouldn't just try to cater to every fan who complains they want more of something. We'll keep ending up with games that have no heart put into them!

I disagree, I thought while the plot with some of the other characters was good, it wasn't spread out enough, and could have used a little bit more to help build things up for the final conclusion at the end. Don't get me wrong, what we did get was good, I was just expecting a little more.
It's kind of hard to say this is really a sequel to ALTTP. I mean yes, it is set in the same timeline as it and at a further point down the timeline, and yes, the overworld is very similar to ALTTP's as well, but it's set much later on, with a new Link and Zelda. It's not the old one's and what new adventures they might have had or continuing direct plot elements left over either. Very few Zelda games are really sequels as they are just another entry in the series(and I don't mean anything bad by that).
Also it's not like there haven't been contradictions in the past about the Zelda series.
And the newer Zelda games having no heart? I thought there was plenty of it in PH and ST, just because they had a different style doesn't make them worthless entries that didn't try like so many try to claim. Of course you can't please everyone, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt to take some feedback to try to improve/make positive changes.

The story directly COMES from a Link to the Past...Same places, same music, even people appeared the same. Seriously, why would you ever think it was NOT a sequel?!! Even in interviews, Nintendo, they say it is a sequel.
That kind of makes it a sequel.
Only near the end of the game did the story split into a new take, and even then it still wasn't that far from a Link to the Past. It's easier for me to say Majora's Mask is not a sequel to Ocarina of Time than to say a Link between worlds is not a sequel to a Link to the past
They have new elements, but are stated officially to be a continuation of a particular Zelda game, thus makes it a sequel regardless of personal opinions.
I feel the opposite about Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks. I found them to be some of the worst installments to the series and horribly executed. It's not the different style that turned me off it, it was the bad story, bad characters and bad controls that did. 
Feedback is good, yes, but don't let it guide your hand. They are making the game for everyone to enjoy after all, not just the spoiled complainers who want a Zelda game tailored just for them.
